yougottagetagimmick: gilch30 i will say it does not have the highest gross in films, even though i am an almost obsessive fan. i will also say that neither does titanic, or even avatar now in real world dollars, that record goes to "gone with the wind." this is in light of the fact that the dollar was worth more then, as well as the fact that it cost very little money to go to the movies. so...um...yeah... grins i just found this out myself.	95Godfather: lol, del toro seems unimpressed with his own role
DistinguishedFlyer: true, but people had to pay for three tickets to see the whole story titanic or gone with the wind, which has the largest adjusted gross only required people to put their money down once to watch the entire thing. xaxie1: oh dear lol, you can see through angelinas top lol	pipkin3: harry potter doesn't count as one film, they are each concerned with a different plot from one film to the next. even though they have an overall plot, it is still a "series" of films, and not a whole. they al have a beginning and end as far self contained plots, whereas lotr runs through all 3, hence they are considered as one story. you should really be concentrating on the first hp films, because including the rest will obviously overtake the gross of lotr

Gilch30: your logic there is just plain stupid. okay, all of the harry potter films count as one movie, therefore surpass lord of the rings by a great deal, and not just because there are more films. out of the top 10 worldwide moneymakers, only 2 of the lotr makes the list. 3 of the harry potter films make the list. so therefore, harry potter has made more money than any other movie in history.. that logic sounds stupid right.. so does yours.	loyis7: the lord of the rings is 1 movie divided into 3 pieces. if you combine not all of them just 3 2 you already surpass titanic by far. if you add 1 as well then you got your self a movie that no other can surpass it in ticket sales never
Gilch30: you see, this is what bothers me about lord of the rings fans. the films did not make more money than any other movie yet you claim that it has. titanic holds both the worldwide and domestic records	saantinoo: yeah, i dunno of the rest of them... i mean.. viggo mortensen orlando bloom elijah wood did a good job, maybe he deserve something... but sir ian is way more better than the rest of the crew... he has a long and extense carrear, not only in the movie industry, but also in great theather plays... he gave us some unforgettable performances on the big screen, and he really deserve the most emblematic award... an oscar. i mean.. cmon... a lot of actors who doesen't deserve it have one...
