sanity1001: creationliberty you nut. did you know there are thousands of volcanic ash layers in between sedimentary layers throughout the whole world. there are thousands of volcanic calderas some much bigger than mt st. helens. if those all had gone off even over a thousand years this place would be cooked to a cinder with no ozone protection from radiation, greenhouse gases and ash and the temperature now would be like venus 600 800 farenheit. you also reckon they were deposited in a flood... ha ha	creationliberty: "the mountain's worst eruption in more than 30,000 years," ha nothing is that old. ya can't watch anything anymore without evolution propaganda thrown into it. oh well, it's not rather's fault, he's just reading his cue cards.

kfirmedia: 30 years ago i remember this event like it was yesterday. finishing jr. high in spokane, going on 15 years old and being very scared at first then enjoying the days off of school for the week. cleanup was crap bet i still have a few jars of ash in mom's basement someplace.	wrsawy1: i remember this like it was yesterday, amazing times in our state.
SDSpike: this is good on the scene reporting. i like that police car with the shop vac on the front end acting as a air filter. i heard people's car would just stop because the air filters were so clogged the engine's couldn't breath. they had to take the filters out, bang them clean and keep going. i imagine quite a few of them machines you seen moving have short life spans after that dust.	ufofan1980: i was seven years old when this happened. i lived in vancouver bc, and was in yakima when lighting lit the dark sky and mom thought it was the apocalypse and somehow crawled under the backseat of our 68' suburban.
