m0sthated80: i love love love vanessa marcil however, i think rebecca should have won or robin.	cajayson8301: 8j8j8ae what is so emmy worthy about vm's performance her four month return was comprised of nothing more than giggling, idiocy and wrapping her legs around any man she could. she only won it out of pity from the judges who found abc too untoward in regards to her ridiculous demands. as is the case with some emmy wins, politics plays a large role no pun intended in the overall outcome.

IHateEvery1Equally09: that emmy was way overdue for vm. it was a wonderful year for her and maurice benard both. i watched the emmy's live that year and could not stay in my seat when they both won.
jmluveva23: oh please robin christopher did not deserve to win. she hardly made her mark as skye on gh and her character was not memorable. vm made her mark as brenda barrett and she deserved this. johnmarlena4ever: vanessa deserved it also kelly is a great actress, kelly and vanessa are both great	AdArmand: i really feel robin christopher should have won this... not only for the superlative work she put in during the 2001 03 period, but for adding layer upon layer to the tortured skye, who always seemed like an outsider. it was a lovely twist to have her become best friends with luke spencer, who finally validated her. i do wish robin had won the emmy.

cajayson8301: i made a mistake...robin has been skye since 1986, not 1996.	cajayson8301: deserved she worked on the show for four months of the entire year. everyone else was on for 12 months. and what tapes of hers looked emmy worthy i recognize both the tapes she submitted. they did not look emmy worthy to me. why does she deserve an award just because the judges feel sorry for her pity awards should not be allowed. and robin has played skye since 1996 and has been on soaps much longer than vm, plus she is much classier and a team player.
travisj90: nonetheless i think she still deserved,i mean she's been that character since 92.its like give her one already	cajayson8301: vm asked for more money and a reduced work schedule, in fact she asked to make more than tony geary. abc rightfully said no...now, if she asked for less work and to make 2,000 more a year, that i am sure would be reasonable but to make more than geary totally ridiculous. that is what meant with how abc treated her "badly" which i believe they did not. my source, who is 100 accurate on everything she tells me, said she only won because the judges felt sorry for her.
